Emperor Norton's Fantastic San Francisco Campaign Benefit
In Emperor Norton's Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine — the celebrated historical walking tour that he launched four years ago this month — Joseph Amster plays Emperor Norton.
Joseph estimates that he now has given the tour to between 10,000 and 15,000 people. And it's not too much to say that, through his informative and entertaining tour — and through countless other appearances (and photo bombs!) these last four years —Joseph's funnily serious and seriously funny incarnation of Emperor Norton has made him San Francisco's favorite modern-day Emperor.
The Emperor's Bridge Campaign is honored to announce that our good friend Joseph Amster will be offering — as a fundraising benefit for the Campaign — a special Sunday edition of his regular Fantastic San Francisco Time Machine historical walking tour.
100% of all ticket sales for this event will go to The Emperor's Bridge Campaign, the only nonprofit whose sole mission is to honor the life and advance the legacy of Joshua Abraham Norton (c.1818-1880) — best known and remembered as the San Francisco eccentric and visionary, Emperor Norton.
