The Bold Italic Features Our Upcoming Tannenbaum Toast

I'm delighted to confirm that the widely read San Francisco-focused Web site The Bold Italic is spotlighting our upcoming holiday drinks party in its curated events listings for this week.

Next Sunday afternoon, we'll gather at the fabulously restored House of Shields (1908) bar, where we'll raise a glass to Emperor Norton for his kindness in — we think — calling for a grand Christmas tree in Union Square, a tradition that started in 1880.

We're calling this event The First Annual Tannenbaum Toast.

The Bold Italic lists The First Annual Tannenbaum Toast as one of 40 things to do in San Francisco this week — and one of 24 to do in the city this coming weekend.

Please use this to invite your Emperor- and Bay Bridge-loving friends to join us next Sunday. And please RSVP here.

Thanks!
