A Comic With Emperor Norton, a Little Kid and a Serious Message

While a student at the Savannah College of Art & Design (Atlanta campus), freelance cartoonist Rachel Ordway created the following wonderful little 3-part morality tale in which Emperor Norton explains himself to a young kid.

In the course of the "lesson," the Emperor points out that "there will always be those who choose to perceive the world only as they see fit, regardless of counterarguments. So there is always bound to be dissension when one chooses to inhabit a different world than that which is commonly accepted by others. All that matters then is how to deal with it."

Ain't that the truth?
